We live in Cameron Missouri 50 miles north of Kansas City Missouri. My husband and I have a organic garden of about a acre. We are retired and would love to give back to a food pantry. I believe every one on this planet should have a garden and learn to feed themselves. We have the ground and know how and can teach our method of gardening. It is getting the people interested in our place seems to be a little troubelsome. I mean finding those that are welling to work in a garden. Those that need it the most(those using the food pantry) do not see the value in being sustainable. I keep going back to this wonderfull understanding. “Give food and feed for the day. Teach how to grow food and feed for a life time.” So I am asking how to find those who want to feed themselves, and work,but do not understand how?
